In 2006 and 2007 I lead and project manage the opening of 6 new stores, were I was in charge of everything from the actual buildings to the education of the new staff. I made a lot of mistakes and began to love multi tasking, stress and pressure. I learned that a motivated team with a common goal can achieve amazing results.
2007-2008 Store manager
In 2007 and 2008 I lead 3 different stores as a store manager. I developed my own leader style and was highly spoken of within the company. I was elected to the development group to improve the design of the Jem & Fix stores.

Marina Läroverket 2005-2008
Three years of leadership and communication. This is my upper secondary school education. Great for my self-confidence and here did I find my passion for leading and communication. These three years will define me forever.
KSSS 2004-2008
Royal Swedish Yacht Club. I’ve worked as instructor for kids in all ages. Handling all the responsibility really made me grow as a person. Both responsibility for myself, the boats and a lot of kids that are everywhere and nowhere.

I study Business Management, and we work in modules, these are the ones I’ve done so far.
What’s going on
How would you make the best decisions for you company if you had no information? I’ve practiced world and trend analysis within the digital sphere and different industries all around the world.
Communication Skills
What makes a great team member, leader or company? It’s ability to communicate. Communication are stimulating makes me really passionate. For me, communication is everything, and still invisible.
Service Design/Change management
How do you do when you are exposed to change? An idea development and creativity module(s). Their focus was improving my idea development skills, but also how to lead and handle change within lots of different areas. Indeed stimulating.
New Digital Business
How do you create your own business? Many people don’t know much of this, but I sure do. The opportunity to start a business and see all the necessary parts of it, to make it work is fantastic. The business plan was presented for real investors. We got great response with several thumbs up and an interest to talk further.
Building a Brand
Did you know that the word “Brand” came from a Scandinavian word: Brandur, to mark? A branding module, with several parts in it: both analyzing and producing a concept for a brand. I like understanding why I do things, and when I understand branding, I understand a bit of myself as well. The challenge of understanding others and the communication is key elements, I like, big time.
UGL 2008
When you work in a team, wouldn’t it be better if you where familiar with both the group processes, and yourself? The “Understanding of group and leadership” course has been the Swedish militaries education for decades, and is now one of the most recognized group courses in the world. It gives great personal knowledge and has given me a lot of tools to active help a group work as good as possible.
UF 2007-2008
In the Swedish upper secondary school many teenagers get the possibility to start up a business and run it for a year in school. I took that possibility and it has been a great experience. Two awards; Third best craftsmanship in the Stockholm area and a special prize for best showcase during the exhibition. This really taught me of determination and vision. And some of the backsides of having your own business.
ORC Software 2008
I did a analysis of the company’s values during a week. It gave me an opportunity to work strategically and with a broad perspective, which was great. But most importantly, it showed me how I want to work in the future. Key element: Freedom under responsibility.
Goal within the next couple of years?
Get a great deal of experience, and develop an expertise in what I am doing, and how. I want to have responsibility and laughter, lots of laughter.

Annelie Nilsson's CV
The year is 1988 and it is April 12. We are in the hospital in Karlskrona and this is the day I came to the world.
It is now 1992 and I’m four years old. My dad has been away for a year and worked in Saudi Arabia. This was the year that changed my life, the year when my parents decided that I and my little sister together with my mother would move to Saudi Arabia to join my father.
Over the years I lived in Saudi Arabia, I had the best time in my life! Lots of pranks, laughter, warm days and many hours were spent in the pool that we had there where we lived. In other words, I lived the dream!
The year is now 1998 and we have moved back to Sweden. During fall, a new girl came to our class and her name is Lina. It didn’t take long before it clicked between us. She was shy and so was I, but we found each other.
Lina is one of my closest friends and we have always been there for each other. At first, I was always withdrawn and quiet, but thanks to Lina I am who I am today. She got me to step outside my comfort zone and dare to open up myself to others.
As a person I’m hard working, open, and social and like to talk.
The most important thing for me in my life is that my family and my friends feel good. I’m always there when my friends and family needs me. I have learned a lot about life because I have had friends around me who had a difficult upbringing. Much of this has made me appreciate everything I have, but even my positive attitude to life. I always try to find something positive in everything, even tow it can be hard to see it.
After I started at Hyper Island in autumn 2008, I started to get to know myself better as a person. Something I discovered about myself is that I am afraid of conflict and I don’t want to have any enemies. This is something I have worked on with myself during this autumn, I’m bringing things up, here and now, when there’s a problem.
